Borassodendron borneense
Description
[edit]A tall, solitary, Costapalmate fan palm with very deeply segmented, dark green, glossy leaves. The leaf undersides are a distinctive silver-whitish color
Culture
[edit]Some filtered light required esp. when young, moist, but well drained position. Cold Hardiness Zone: 11

[edit]"Beautiful but very rare in cultivation- this is a large fan palm from Borneo that is very similar to it's cousin B. machadonis, but with a thinner trunk and slightly daintier leaves."
