Blink (2024 short film)
[edit]Blink is a British made Thriller Short made by independent studio High Treason. It was written and directed by British film maker Sophie Thompson and co-written by actor of the film: Mitch Corrado. The films stars previously mentioned Mitchel Corrado and Cody Mickley as the leading roles. Blink features the song Digital silence by Peter McPoland as the only song to show up in the short. Blink released in a UK theatre as part of a film festival on 14th June 2024.
Premise
[edit]Blink is a vigilante with the power of teleportation, however each time this power is used, it slowly kills him. This encourages Blink to find a replacement for himself to take over his work when he's gone. He finds this person in Vee Shapel, a young girl who unfortunately doesn't see eye to eye with Blink leading to a battle between the two.

Release
[edit]Blink was released in a film festival in the United Kingdom known as the Boston Film Festival[1]. Blink was played along side films by Director Keegan Nuttell-Cartwright and TikTok star Benjamin Tiffin. The film festival took place in a town called Boston and premiered on June 14th 2024. Although awards were presented at the festival, Blink did not receive any.
Future
[edit]With Blink being in a film festival it had a limited run time, meaning there is a lot of scrapped content for the short. Sophie Thompson and High Treason plan to expand the Blink universe with a short running series to flesh out characters and fully develop a story.
