Draft:Bhatti (Jat Clan)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bhatti (Punjabi: بھٹی; Sindhi: ڀٽي) are a Jat clan primarily found in Punjab and Sindh. The Ain-i-Akbari, document their presence in sub-districts of Punjab such as Batala, Dipalpur and Jalalabad[1].Their origins are debated, but some sources suggest that the Bhatti Jats are descendants of the Malli tribe.[2]

Apparently Bhatti were ethnically regarded as the umbrella composition between Rajput and Jat cluster of Yadava lineage
