Ben Davidson is an American college basketball player who competes for Ferris State University in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Standing at 6'3" and weighing 205 lbs, Davidson plays as a junior guard and is known for his scoring ability, three-point shooting, and leadership on the court.
Early Life and High School Career Davidson grew up in St. Clair, Michigan, and attended St. Clair High School, where he excelled in basketball. His standout performances earned him recognition as one of the top recruits in his area, eventually leading him to commit to Ferris State University.
Davidson had a strong high school career, earning Prep Hoops All-State honors and MAC Gold MVP awards, demonstrating his early potential as a top shooting guard in Michigan
College Career Davidson joined the Ferris State Bulldogs and quickly established himself as a key player. In the 2022-2023 season, he averaged 13 points per game, helping the Bulldogs to key wins in both conference and non-conference play. In January 2023, Davidson was named GLIAC Player of the Week for his performances, including a notable 30-point effort over two games that saw Ferris State dominate both Fanshawe (Ontario) and Lewis (Illinois).
He contributed both offensively and defensively throughout his career, particularly during Ferris State's 2023-2024 season, when the team won their fifth GLIAC Championship in seven years. Davidson’s leadership and scoring prowess were pivotal in Ferris State's victory over their rival, Grand Valley State, in the 2024 GLIAC tournament final. He scored key points off the bench and was a strong presence throughout the tournament, including during crucial games against teams like Wayne State and Wisconsin-Parkside
