Avadh Girls' Degree College, established in 1958, is a higher education institution for women in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Initially known as Loreto Degree College, the institution was taken over by the Avadh Educational Society in 1975 from Loreto Convent. The transition was completed in the 1975-76 academic year when the government transferred the college's management to the society.
