Anthony O'Neill is a Scottish country singer, guitarist and songwriter. He has played and worked with a number of bands and artists including the Baby Snakes, playing bass on their 1992 EP Four Foot-tapping Greats.[1]

He released his debut album, All That's Left to Rust in 2023, under the title Anthony O'Neill and the Murder.[2]. Two tracks by the group, I Know Jesus Would and The L&N Don't Stop Here Anymore reached number one in the UK Country Music playlist charts in April 2024 and August 2024 respectively. The group has been nominated for UK Country Artist of the Year and UK Country Group of the Year in the 2024 UK Country Music Awards.[3]

O'Neill is also a Tove Jansson historian and created the first official translation of the 1980 Moomin story, A Villain in the Moominhouse, which was premiered at a London literary festival in 2017.
