[edit]Angela Rodgers-Dudley (born May 1st, 1973) is an American Author and Victim Advocate from Michigan. She is a nonfiction Christian Author who writes under her maiden name Rodgers.
Biography
[edit]Angela M Rodgers-Dudley was born and raised in Pinckney Michigan to Charles and JoAnn Rodgers. She has two brothers Robert and Kevin. She graduated in 1991 from Father Gabriel Richard High School in Ann Arbor Michigan. She received further education from Lansing Community College.
Angela is unapologetically a lover and teacher of Christ. This relationship was fortified even greater as GOD restored her through the deaths of her two sons.
Angela resides in rural Michigan with her husband, Myke, and their adopted children. Angela has both adult children and adopted children, however, it is not known how many children Angela has as she keeps their lives very private.
Angela has two deceased children Jacob and Jarred. Jacob was murdered in 2012 and Jarred passed away on Christmas day 2017. Angela has fostered well over 50 children, reflecting her dedication to helping vulnerable populations.
Author
[edit]Angela has published two Non-Fiction Christian books with Battle Press Publishing . Her debut book Painfully Broken Yet Beautifully Redeemed was published in 2021 and her second book From Darkness to Light was published in 2022. She is not afraid to share the raw and personal details of her tragedies and grief to help others understand the redeeming and healing love of God. Her testimony is her healing. As an everyday woman and mother, Angela seeks to share her journey of grief and the redeeming love of God.
Advocacy and Community Engagement
[edit]In addition to her writing, Angela actively participates in community service, leveraging her experiences to educate and support those in need. Her work as an advocate showcases her commitment to making a positive impact on society, particularly for marginalized groups.
Through her testimony and advocacy efforts, Angela exemplifies resilience and compassion, aiming to empower others facing similar challenges. Angela is a preacher; Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer and a Volunteer Victim Advocate for GHOST and works to rescue women who have been victims of sex trafficking. Angela is a fierce advocate for children and this type of advocacy is only birthed out of true adversity. Angela sits on multiple boards across Michigan including, Co-Chair of the Genesee County Human Trafficking Taskforce, Member of the Shiawassee County Human Trafficking Taskforce, and Board member on behalf of the general public at the Child Trust Michigan.
Angela is the founder of Millstone Ministry located in Owosso Michigan, the goal is to educate, advocate, and bring light into the darkest places of Human Trafficking.
