Amaury Laurent Bernier is a French composer living in Hamburg.[1]

Life and career

[edit]

Born and raised in Melun near Paris, Amaury Laurent moved to Libourne, in the south of France at the age of 10, where he began to discover music and play various instruments. After studying modern literature in Bordeaux, Amaury spent years writing, arranging and producing as a multi-instrumentalist and producer for various artists, learning recording techniques[1].[2]

Around 2014, Amaury met a director who was enthusiastic about his work as a songwriter and composer and suggested he score his short film, after which he decided to focus on film music. Since then, he has worked on more than 120 projects, including commercials, short films, TV series, feature films, etc., which have won international awards in numerous prestigious festivals as New York International, Munich, Cinedkids, Kyoto...[2]

His style could be described as organic, warm and eclectic. His Literature and songwriting background allow him to understand the subtext better, and write songs.

In 2022 Amaury recorded the soundtrack of the movie “ TOTEM ” with the South African Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra at Cinemagic Scoring. [3]

His Soundtracks are since 2024 released by Moviescore Media.
