Interface and Features

[edit]

Features

[edit]

Airbabble is a social media platform centered around audio content. Users can create, share, and discover short audio clips, known as "babbles". Users can interact with content by tapping on a babble to initiate playback. Each babble has a maximum duration of four minutes, with the exact length indicated on the clip. Responses to a babble appear chronologically beneath the original clip, allowing users to follow the conversation's progression.

Users can discover new babbles in several ways. By exploring different hashtags, users can find content related to specific interests. Additionally, the platform offers a search function allowing users to find specific users by their usernames.

Visual elements are incorporated into the platform. A "babble swirl" visually represents the popularity of a clip, increasing in size and color intensity as it receives more listens.

[edit]

Airbabble's logo features a purple sound wave with three overlapping waves.[6]

User Experience

[edit]

The Airbabble interface in dark mode features a dark purple background with babbles signified by a user's profile photo.[7]

The platform's visual aesthetic is minimal, with the primary focus on the audio content.
