Ahmad Sayer Daudzai is the former Acting Ambassador of Afghanistan in the UAE in 2020 and then from September 2021 until October 2023. He led the Embassy of Afghanistan in UAE as an independent Embassy, while bypassing the Taliban Authority and directly serving the people of Afghanistan. In his term in 2020, Ahmad Sayer Daudzai was responsible for the entry of Group 42, Siemens Middle East, DP World and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi as investors from the UAE to Afghanistan.
Prior to the UAE, Ahmad Sayer Daudzai served as Afghanistan's Vice Consul to Istanbul, Turkey from March 2014 until August 2017, where he successfully attracted $10 billion investment from a Turkish conglomerate called Calik Group into Afghanistan's TAPI gas pipeline project.
Ahmad Sayer Daudzai is a Geoeconomist with expertise in Finance and Diplomacy.
