Aabaha Art and Theater Festival was a three day multilingual and multicultural annual event in Greater Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America to showcase theaters and art by Indian Subcontinent immigrants focusing on the narratives and cultural heritage of the Indian Subcontinent and sharing stories and challenges of immigrant communities. It gave a platform to locals to experience tradition, culture, and heritage of the Indian Subcontinent.
The festival staged plays, bringing forth the diverse stories of the Indian subcontinent to the local audience by local artists, organizations, and theaters groups from other cities of the United States of America.
Aabaha Art and Theater Festival 2024
[edit]In 2024, Aabaha Art and Theater Festival was held from Friday August 9 through August 11 at the theater hall The Eagle @Sugar Hill. Aabaha, Abhinayam, Atlanta Theater Workshop, and Dhoop Chaon Hindi Theater Group were the local groups and Chicago Naytogoshthi, ENAD, Boston, and Kushilob, Philadelphia were there groups outside of Georgia performed in this festival. The plays were in Bengali and Hindi. It displayed the retrospective of 75 years of Indian Theater, and paintings, sculptures, and crafts made by the local artists.

[edit]In 2023, Aabaha Art and Theater Festival was held from Friday August 4 through August 6 at the theater hall The Eagle @Sugar Hill. Aabaha, Atlanta Theater Workshop, and Dhoop Chaon Hindi Theater Group were the local groups and Chicago Naytogoshthi, Ebong Theatrix, Washington DC, Hindi Rangmanch of North Carolina, Mandi Theater, Illinois, and Songlap, Ohio were there groups outside of Georgia performed in this festival. The plays were in Bengali, English and Hindi. It displayed paintings, sculptures, and crafts made by the local artists.
