On October 27, 2024, a ramming attack occurred near the Glilot military base north of Tel Aviv in Israel. A truck driver rammed into a bus stop near the base, injuring about 35 people and placing six in serious condition.[1]
The truck driver was reportedly shot and neutralized by civilians near the scene. He is currently being investigated by Israeli authorities.[2][3]
The motive of the attack is unclear.[4] The victims are said to be either senior citizens or soldiers returning to the base.[1][4]
The perpetrator was identified as Rami Natour, an Israeli-Arab from Qalansawe. [3]
