Ía Navarro Ibarra (Aguascalientes, Mexico, July 3, 1979) is a Mexican poet and linguist currently residing in Mexico City. Known for her introspective poetry with a focus on feminine sensuality, Navarro has also made contributions to linguistics, particularly in the semantics and syntax of Mexican Spanish.
Poetic Work
[edit]Ía Navarro Ibarra's poetry explores themes of identity, introspection, and the female experience, delivered with an authentic and lyrical voice. Her work has been published in various anthologies, and she shares her writing on her literary blog, Del Desierto con Amor (From the Desert with Love, 2011 - present), where she presents her reflections and poems.[1] Some of her most notable poetic works include:

[edit]In addition to her literary career, Navarro has served as a researcher for Mexico’s National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT), where she was a member of the National System of Researchers.[7] Her academic work focuses on the semantics and syntax of Mexican Spanish, with particular emphasis on complex predicates and verb valency changes.
