Dizan (Persian: ديزان)[a] is a village in Jovestan Rural District[b] of Bala Taleqan District, Taleqan County, Alborz province, Iran.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 570 in 194 households, when it was in Bala Taleqan Rural District[c] of the former Taleqan District, Savojbolagh County, Tehran province.[5] In 2010, the county was separated from the province in the establishment of Alborz province.[6] The district was separated from the county in the establishment of Taleqan County. The rural district was transferred to the new Bala Taleqan District and renamed Jovestan Rural District.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 665 people in 248 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
