Cyprus–France relations are foreign relations between Cyprus and France. The two countries share membership of the European Union, Council of Europe and Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. Cyprus is an associate member of the Francophonie organization since 2006.[1] France is a supporter of Cyprus against Turkey's refusal to recognize and admit Cypriot ships and planes.[citation needed] France recognized Cyprus on 16 August 1960.[2]
The current Ambassador of France to Cyprus is Clélia Chevrier Kolačko, who has been in this position since September 2024.[3][4] The current Ambassador of Cyprus to France is Pavlos Kombos.[5]
