Chaybasar-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان چايپاسار جنوبي)[3] is in the Central District of Maku County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Qarah Tappeh.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 10,148 in 2,004 households.[6] There were 8,684 inhabitants in 2,127 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 8,520 in 2,270 households. The most populous of its 43 villages was Adaghan, with 1,162 people.[2]
