The Central District of Natanz County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان نطنز) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Natanz.[3]

History

After the 2011 National Census, the village of Tarq merged with five other villages to become the city of Tarq Rud.[4]

At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 20,736 in 6,808 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 20,766 people in 7,439 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 20,232 inhabitants in 7,185 households.[2]
