I'm not sure either, but there are a number of articles -- it looks like there ought to be more based on the scattering of years in the category. So it doesn't seem unreasonable right now. If they weren't gathered up in a subcat, they would be loose and at large in the awards categories. So from that perspective, it makes sense to have a subcat.
