Hello,
I am writing an evaluation for my class. I want to publish one question, then post my evaluation. What are some of the core values in those who are singularitarians?
This is my evaluation. The article has a solid lead section that identifies, concisely, what singularitarianism is, and what it means to hold this belief. The content is up to date, with the last edit in March 2020. The article does not seem to try to persuade, but does lack content. The article gives a short summary of what it means to hold singularianistic views, but does not deliver its origin, or credible individuals who hold this view. There are only a small number of subcategories that follow, but does give a list of singularitarians. This article has only links, no citations, so it is hard to say where this information is coming from. The organization is fine, simple, and easy to follow. On the talk page there is no direct dialogue between editors, however this article is directly linked to Wikipedia:WikiProject Philosophy and Wikipedia:WikiProject Transhumanism where one can start a conversation around the core values of philosophy and the discussion on singularitarianism within a group of people who wish to expand the philosophical coverage on wikipedia. My overall impression is that the article could use some more information, could cite sources of origin, and give examples of people who hold this belief. The article is not complete, but it is explaining a belief around values, and ideals, that might not have a lot of notability yet.--Jmorales96 (talk) 23:11, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
