Categorisation: Drinking water reservoirs in England

[edit]

I don't want to just revert Andy's change again (because this is already in danger of descending into a revert war), so I'll first point out why I don't think this category should be included in Category:Drinking water reservoirs in England. As I pointed out before, not all of the reservoirs included here were built to provide drinking water. For example Valehouse Reservoir is a compensation reservoir designed to guarantee a flow of water to the water-powered industries downstream of the Longdendale chain. --VinceBowdren 20:15, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I added it to Category:Reservoirs in England instead. -- User:Docu

Category description change

[edit]

Hi just to let you all know, I have changed the description for this category so that only places within the National park and close proximity can be added to it. This has been done after discussion in Talk:Peak District in order to avoid adding places which are too far from the region, which may confuse and mislead some people as a result.
