Please submit my Uncle Calvin Peterson to the list, he received the Cross twice and I have seen them. He was very angry to find his name not on the list. I hope actor Tim Holt will be added to this list, either under his stage name or his birth name of Charles John Holt III. Him being a recipient of this high award was missing from his page and I just added it, along with two references to the fact. Thank you. UPDATE: I learned of adding the catagory to his page, and it worked, but his entry is out of alphabetical order Neuroguy2 (talk) 23:52, 30 August 2016 (UTC)

Jim Mulvihill is missing from the list of recipients. Hopefully, now he will be included.

FYI Jim did not receive his DFC until many years after the war. His original Silver Star submission was lost and it wasn't until this was discovered during the Clinton Administration that the DFC award was made. Since then Jim has passed on. Please add my father George Ambrose McCann to the list of Distinguished Flying Cross recipients. He died May 1, 2011 and served as a B-17 pilot during WW-II. He proudly displayed his medals on the wall in our dining room for many years and received a confirmation letter when he requested a replacement medal a few years ago. The President of the United States takes great pleasure in presenting the Distinguished Flying Cross to Captain Robert K. Stein, Jr., for extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as an AC-47 Pilot near Can Tho, Republic of Vietnam on 9 and 10 April 1966. On that date, Captain Stein was flying a combat support mission against hostile forces attempting to overrun a friendly Special Forces outpost. Despite limited communications with the friendly forces, intense ground fire directed at the aircraft, the close proximity of the border of a neutral country and the illumination of their own aircraft as they provided airborne flares for the friendly forces, Captain Stein and his crew made repeated illumination and firing passes over the hostile positions. They directed their fire with such accuracy and determination that the hostile forces were forced to break off the attack. The professional competence, aerial skill, and devotion to duty displayed by Captain Stein reflect great credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
