House Names
[edit]All forty of these templates incorrectly name the two houses of the legislature.
The upper house is not the "State Senate", is it just the "Senate". Other states like New York call their upper legislative house State Senate but New Jersey doesn't. The word "State" should either be removed or not capitalized; I am in favor of removing it because the sentence makes it clear it's not talking about the US Senate.
Also, "Assembly" should be "General Assembly".
From the NJ Constitution: "The legislative power shall be vested in a Senate and General Assembly."
Is there a way to make changes to all forty templates at once? Aki Mononoke (talk) 07:01, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- There is nothing to be done about it from a category page, but if you bring up the issue at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject New Jersey, then someone from the project may be able to assist. --RL0919 (talk) 03:59, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
