[edit]I don't have sufficient skills to add him, but you've missed out Malcolm Muggeridge. CO.
It should be noted that the term "Christian" here is being used in its most liberal meaning. Nospamtodd 14:30, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- It has been. Did you bother even to scan the page? PenguinJockey 21:32, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Glancing over her article, I don't see any indication that Nobuko Yoshiya is even Christian. Is there anyone with a link that could confirm that she fits the category, or would it just be safe to remove her from the list? Shikitohno (talk) 02:53, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
- Nevermind, should have looked at the history page on her article. There's a reference buried there to an essay about her conflicted Christian faith.Shikitohno (talk) 02:56, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
Acceptability of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender status
[edit]Besides extreme churches like the Westboro Baptist Church, most Christian churches will accept people regardless of their sexual orientation. However, many will maintain that they follow the same laws as others in the church, that is no sex outside a heterosexual marriage. The issue isn't whether they identify as gay, but how they live their lives. Joshuajohanson (talk) 20:42, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think so. Sin is as much accepted in most churches as disagreement on many issues. Glatisant 11:26, 17 January 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Glatisant (talk • contribs)
- Depends on how you mean "accept." A Christian church will (or should, but sadly many do not, as Glatisant says) accept them as people, but will not (again, should not) accept their behavior -- LGBTism is in direct conflict with Mosaic law regarding sexuality (which also precludes adultery, incest, and bestiality... think about it). Not trying to start a religious debate here, but "LGBT Christian" is really a contradiction in terms. 70.119.226.163 (talk) 22:32, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
LGBT by grouping..
[edit]Should this category be divided into subcategories of LGBT Catholics, LGBT Orthodox Christians, LGBT Anglicans, LGBT Mormons, LGBT Protestants, etc? --Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 23:44, 25 November 2010 (UTC)
- Shouldn't Cats like LGBT Catholics and LGBT Anglicans be subcats of LGBT Christians? Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 18:01, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
