I came to this category after noticing that Botryococcus Braunii (of which I am the primary Wikipedia page editor on) was included in it. However, Bb is not suitable for biodiesel production, but rather through direct fossil fuel replacement via hydrocracking of its oils. I think you should somehow broaden the description of this category to reflect this fact. Something along the lines of "biodiesel and other replacements for transportation fuels derived from fossil sources" Bobkeyes 20:52, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
