Where are the other definitions I created, such as Definitions of Palestine and Palestinian? --Uncle Ed (talk) 15:13, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- This category seems to include to substantially different types of articles. One type deals with the act of defining. Those are articles like Paradox of analysis, Extensional definition, and Indeterminacy (philosophy). The other type of article is those that contain actual definitions, like Definitions of Palestine and Palestinian, List of topics related to Black and African people, Logonym, and Affective labor. The latter type should be in a different category, perhaps with a name like Category:Definitions. Will Beback talk 19:07, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, precisely. The category I had in mind for the handful of "Definitions of" article I started (a few years ago) was for words which various writers used differently. The differences were so great that in disputes the parties seemed to be talking past each other. I thought it might make a controversy easier for the reader to follow, if we defined a term as each party was using it. --Uncle Ed (talk) 23:47, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've moved some articles to the newly-recreated Category:Definitions. Will Beback talk 10:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
