Stop toying with this notion of anarchism being a political movement. It is not. It is an ideology. Provo is in instance of a political movement based on anarchist ideology, therefore it's a anarchist movement. Only people can move. Ideologies do not. Fin. From UK Encarta: "Anarchism, political concept and social movement that advocates the abolition of any form of State, which is regarded as coercive, and its replacement with voluntary organization." (emphasis added) [1]. TheUngovernableForce23:23, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, well. All nice and such. Anarchism is just a generic term for a political ideology. Not really useful here in the categorization hierarchy. Since every social / political movement is community based, and different communities will not have the same form of collective action towards a common goal, it is best to use specific terms for specific anarchist movements, such as Provo. This category is simply a subcat of anarchism. The same can be done for socialist, communist, national-socialist, fascist, etc. movements. Intangible23:57, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
