Governor of Aurora

[edit]

Incumbent Christian Noveras (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) is running for a first full term. Noveras was elected under PDP–Laban with 62.78% of the vote in 2022. On December 13, 2023, the Office of the Ombudsman dismissed Noveras over the use of government resources for his campaign in the 2022 election. Noveras was reinstated on October 10, 2024 after the Court of Appeals overturned the Office of the Ombudsman's dismissal of Noveras.

Vice Governor Reynante Tolentino (Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino) became acting governor on February 7, 2024. Tolentino then became governor on April 24, but was later removed after Noveras was reinstated.

Reynante Tolentino (Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino), a member of the Aurora Provincial Board for the 2nd provincial district, became vice governor on September 6.

On February 7, 2024, Tolentino became acting governor after Governor Christian Noveras (then affiliated with PDP–Laban) was dismissed on December 13, 2023.
