Sabalenka, Iga Świątek and Coco Gauff are in contention for the WTA No. 1 singles ranking. Sabalenka must reach at least the quarterfinals to have a chance at retaining the No. 1 ranking, while Gauff must win the title to have a chance at attaining the top ranking.
