Storm Hunter and Elise Mertens defeated Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2023 Italian Open.[1]

Veronika Kudermetova and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova were the defending champions, but lost in the first round to Victoria Azarenka and Beatriz Haddad Maia.[2]
