Kevin Anderson was the defending champion,[1] but withdrew before the tournament began because of a right elbow injury.[2]

Reilly Opelka won his first ATP Tour title, defeating Brayden Schnur in the final, 6–1, 6–7(7–9), 7–6(9–7). He saved six match points en route to the title, all in the second-set tiebreak of his semifinal match against John Isner.[3]
