The 1999–2000 Coupe de la Ligue began on 16 November 1999 and the final took place on 22 April 2000 at the Stade de France. Lens were the defending champions, but were knocked-out by Toulouse in the Second round. Gueugnon went on to win the tournament, beating Paris Saint-Germain 2–0 in the final.[1]
