Zlatá Baňa (Hungarian: Aranybánya) is a village and municipality in Prešov District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
Name
[edit]The name of the village means literally the "Gold Mine".
History
[edit]In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1550.
Geography
[edit]The municipality lies at an altitude of 590 metres and covers an area of 31.732 km2. It has a population of about 412.
