Yaya Hitayati (born 14 August 1930) is an Indonesian actress and singer who was active in the 1940s and 1950s. She is the part of Classical Indonesian Cinema.

Career
[edit]Yaya started her career by joined Sriwana orchestra as a singer and joined Melati troupe in Tasikmalaya during the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies, as a lead actress.[1] She made her film debut by starred in Supir Istimewa (1954) as a supporting role and made another minor role in Djakarta di Waktu Malam (1954), and Dewi Rimba (1954).[1] She left the film industry in 1955 after starred in Lain Dulu Lain Sekarang (1954).[1]
