Yahya is a 2024 Pakistani television miniseries directed by Shehrazade Sheikh and written by Saira Raza. The series is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under the production banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. It stars Khushhal Khan and Madiha Imam as Yahya and Mili respectively as leads. The series first episode broadcast on 1 November 2024 on Geo Entertainment.[2]

In a family of four sisters, Yahya is the cherished only son with big dreams. Unbeknownst to him, his vibrant and beautiful neighbor, Mili, secretly holds a deep affection for him. Mili lends a helping hand to make Yahya's birthday celebration special, bringing joy to the event. Despite his injury, Yahya wows everyone with an impressive performance during cricket practice.
Bushra grows frustrated when a proposal falls short of her expectations, while Yahya continues to sacrifice for his family. Mili, in turn, steps up to support him. Yahya is overjoyed when he's selected for the U-19 national cricket team, but his happiness is short-lived when Mashkoor objects to the news. Things take a darker turn for Yahya when his rival begins to hatch a dangerous plan.[3]

Soundtrack
[edit]The official soundtrack for the series is performed by Ahmed Ali, lyrics by Shakeel Sohail and the music composition by Sarmad Ghafoor. The OST was released on 8 November 2024.[6]

[edit]The series was announced in January 2024 but the filming was delayed as Khushhal Khan was busy in the production of Duniyapur along with Ramsha Khan. Khushhal Khan and Madiha Imam share the on-screen appearance for the first time.[4] Principal photography completed in October 2024. Filming for the series took place in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. Minor filming also shoot at Abdullah Shah Gazi Tomb in Karachi, Sindh.[7]
First teaser for the drama series released on 22 October 2024 by the Geo Entertainment and the first episode broadcast on November 1, 2024, on the same network. The last episode broadcast on 23 November 2024.[1]
