In 2005, the company received authorization from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority to provide brokerage services for all financial products. In 2007, XTB opened its first foreign branch in the Czech Republic, followed by branches in Germany, Spain, Romania, Slovakia, France, Portugal, Italy, and Hungary in the following years. In 2009, the company changed its name to XTB Online Trading.[4]
