I'm surprised that you announce that "CheckUser and COI VRT appointments" have been made but direct readers to go to a different page to find out what they were. Short answer: deadline. Longer answer: we need more Signpost writers and this was a hanging bullet linked to the AC/N page until about an hour before publication. Well, thanks for your quick response, Bri. To be honest, it looked to me that the page was published before the story was finished which is what happened. Just this week, I read on a user talk page that a newer editor was interested in writing for the Signpost, I should have stopped and provided a link to your suggestion page. Next time, I'll be ready.
