- Houdini got 6th place? That must be a good miniseries! Grognard 123chess456 (talk) 22:07, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- Shouldn't Joan Rivers be described as a comedienne? -- llywrch (talk) 22:43, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
- She could be, but like feminine gender forms such as aviatrix that have gone by the wayside, I think comedienne is being used less and less.[1]--Milowent • hasspoken 00:29, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

- You claim that basketball is "the only world sport that the US can truly claim as its own". Really? Basketball was invented by a Canadian, James Naismith. werldwayd (talk) 23:22, 14 September 2014 (UTC)

- I am not sure it is appropriate to describe basketball as the world's 3rd most popular sport. I think you are judge popularity by audience rather than participation. I think the Asian martial arts like Tae Kwon Do are more popular in terms of participation.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 00:41, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- I would wager that most people judge popularity by audience unless specifically stated otherwise. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 01:06, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
