- This is a really useful summary. Thank you so much! Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation Engineering Community Manager (talk) 17:10, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Tony for pulling this together. To clarify, I wrote most of the talk page of the meta page about an endowment, where I tried to pull together arguments in favor of an endowment... anyway, the point is, I'm in favor of exploring the idea. cheers, -- phoebe / (talk to me) 03:42, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
- Ach, that was actually my fault when editing pre-publication. Thank you for pointing that out. Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 06:25, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
- Rereading this series: I enjoyed it a great deal, and learned things from it that I did not from the questions on Meta. Thank you again for organizing it. This makes me think that
- We should have a consolidated index of Q&A that combines the many places people currently leave them. (on personal talk pages, on meta Question pages, in formal interviews).
- Since the interest is more in the discussion of such strategic issues, not limited to those standing for election: we should catalyze discussions among the Trustees from each year's elections, and feed them into an ongoing discussion of strategy. For many of these issues, what the Trustees think is nice, but what a large community group thinks and can facilitate - through personal, user group, and other networks - is often much more relevant to how the projects develop. – SJ + 23:16, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
