- Not sure if Wikipedia:Link rot is an essay? I guess I don't mind the tagging either way, but I think it's major points are more or less a de facto guideline. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 16:40, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- Not sure how a guideline qualifies into "the list": probably you should just be bold and put it there? Divide et Impera (talk) 17:29, 24 June 2011 (UTC)
- If you want to label a page as a guideline, you would normally a WP:PROPOSAL to the community.
- Linkrot needs to have someone go over it carefully, to make sure that it doesn't conflict with the (relatively new) text at WP:DEADREF. WhatamIdoing (talk) 15:36, 15 July 2011 (UTC)
