[edit]Should we include all of the season articles? What sort of non-retired storm articles should be included? Another thought to make this better defined would be to limit it from 1950 to the near present (2000? 2005?). Comments, please! ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 00:22, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'd include the articles that are listed in {{tropical cyclone}}, perhaps, and also include important seasons (e.g. 1979, 2004, 2005). Anything that is featured might be nice to include... Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 01:07, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- You mean like storm surge, tropical cyclogenesis, and other such terms found in a basic tropical cyclone encyclopedia? We have a few current seasons featured, as well as 1988, but that would seem awkward just to include those few. Alternatively, we could include a list of stats from each season, perhaps as part of a remodeled List of Atlantic hurricane seasons page. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 01:14, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, crucial seasons like 2005 should be in there, as well as the modified stats list. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 02:08, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

EPAC?
[edit]Every EPAC retired storm is GA or better, and every EPAC Cat. 5 (sans one or two) is GA or better. It would be quite easy to throw them in. ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 01:24, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- We can. All Atlantic retired storms comprise 199 pages of pure text (no images, templates, infoboxes, references, section headings or anything like that), and we'd be looking at a WikiReader of just barely under 100,000 words (the count yielded 99,818 words, without including Cat 5 non-retired storms). - Ehh, with 200 pages, adding EPAC storms might be a bit much. I think we should stick to just Atlantic (1965-2005). ♬♩ Hurricanehink (talk) 02:23, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
