This is a quick concept of what I think should be the breakdown of articles related to stagecraft. Feel free to add things I'm missing, as I'm a squint, I'm sure I'll miss imporatant details in other departments. Perhaps this will allow us to come to a consensus regarding form and structure for stagecraft related articles. Morydd 18:49, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I personally would not include stage management or FOH employees in this project as they are not "technicians/stagehands." FOH employees sell tickets and candy amongst other things which we do not do unless we're in need of other work or something. Stage managers handle rehersals with actors and make sure things on stage execute according to how the director wants them. While they may do some crossover to our side of the street, they have an entirely different job. I do feel they would fit in better here with this project than with a project about acting. But I also don't think we should exert a large ammount of energy on them other than what any articles we edit/create talk about taking direction from stage managers. I'm not entirely understanding your whole department scheme when it comes to profesional organiztions and technology. Can you elaborate? --23:18, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Also, now that I look again at what you had posted, I don't understand what the Theater sub-section is in reference to. And is the Stagecraft sub-section in reference to the article? --Lekogm 23:27, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think I goofed on this, I thought I was creating a sub-page and think I could've made more sense that way. I was refering to both the Theater Page and the Stagecraft Page. I think I should've done something more along the lines of an outline. Perhaps I should move this whole section to my own talk page. Morydd 03:27, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Moved from main Stagecraft Project Page. Morydd 20:50, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
