So scenic design needs a little love. A user merged stage picture into it and now it is a little funky. Just thought I would throw that out there for any that might be interested in something to do. --Lekogm 05:21, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Stagecraft/Lighting

This is a subpage to discuss anything related to Electrics or Lighting.

Intelligent lighting should have information on color scrollers, x/y mirrors, gobo rotators, and color faders added. -JWGreen 22:50, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

My theater will be getting rotators, scrollers, and 2 MAC 550's soon (yay) so I shoul be able to get some pictures and info. KeepOnTruckin 00:39, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Stage lighting/stage lighting instruments stuff

So I was looking at the stage lighting page, and I was noticing that there is more info about SLI on the SL page than on the SLI page. Maybe we should migrate this info over to the top of the SLI page? It seems SLI is more about the types of lighting instruments than general information about them. Too Much ETC?

Further to my comments on the discussion page of Lighting control console, does anyone else think that ETC seem to be getting disproportionate representation in this project? I'm aware that they are a major manufacturer, but is it really right that Source four has it's own page, where the Strand SL, Selecon pacific et al does not? Is it proper that ETC have three links on Lighting control console, one of which is to a page that does not yet exist? Comments please! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bryson430 (talkcontribs).

Wikipedia:WikiProject Stagecraft/General discussion

Introduction

I have created this page for general project discussion about this project. Now that we're getting rolling our talk page will be overflowing with discussions. I have also created pages for individual departments, lighting, audio, carps, and props. Please refrain from talking on the main project discussion page unless it is about things relating directly to that page.

Assessment

I have created a subpage for assessment. I've also updated the banner template to reflect class under the banner image. Do you guys think importance should also be included with assessment? Lekogm 17:40, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
