Removal of inactive members

As a member, I just deleted a listed member who has not contributed to Wikipedia in over ten years. Any suggestions on how long an editor is inactive to qualify to be deleted? I’d say if they haven’t contributed an edit to the ‘pedia in a year, they should be removed from the list of active members. They would be welcome to rejoin if they return, of course.
