Proposed move of some sports sections at Pittsburgh
Hi all, as I'm sure everyone has noticed there has been some suggest boxes put on the main article. There is a discussion taking place here if anyone has an view on this. Market St.⧏ ⧐ Diamond Way 02:33, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
Signpost article - is anyone here?
Just wondering if there is anyone here. I see the Signpost ran an article about this wikiproject back in March 2013, but no one responded to comments. XOttawahitech (talk) 15:21, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
- I and a few others check in sometimes, it's more of an organic thing lately with a few Pittsburgh-centric editors kind of doing their own thing and coming together on things that may need consensus. I'll check out the signpost and respond as I'm sure others will too. Thanks for bringing it up here :-). Market St.⧏ ⧐ Diamond Way 21:44, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- @Marketdiamond: Thanks for following up - who knows your project may gain a couple of new participants. XOttawahitech (talk) 01:18, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks again, and yes all are welcomed, here's hoping they value the contributions of some of us older members tho. :-). Market St.⧏ ⧐ Diamond Way 05:49, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

Request for article expansion/notability
Hi all, there has been some general concern that the articles Pittsburgh Geological Society and Pittsburgh Association of Petroleum Geologists are borderline when it comes to notability. Any relevant, referenced additions would be much appreciated! Market St.⧏ ⧐ Diamond Way 04:06, 25 April 2014 (UTC)
Proposed Category deletion
Nothing huge but heads up that Category:Pittsburgh sports stars injured in auto accidents has been nominated for deletion. Discussion is the category's entry. Thanks. Market St.⧏ ⧐ Diamond Way 03:38, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Comment on the WikiProject X proposal
Hello there! As you may already know, most WikiProjects here on Wikipedia struggle to stay active after they've been founded. I believe there is a lot of potential for WikiProjects to facilitate collaboration across subject areas, so I have submitted a grant proposal with the Wikimedia Foundation for the "WikiProject X" project. WikiProject X will study what makes WikiProjects succeed in retaining editors and then design a prototype WikiProject system that will recruit contributors to WikiProjects and help them run effectively. Please review the proposal here and leave feedback. If you have any questions, you can ask on the proposal page or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you for your time! (Also, sorry about the posting mistake earlier. If someone already moved my message to the talk page, feel free to remove this posting.) Harej (talk) 22:47, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
