Notability guidelines?

I have doubts over the current 3 main points:

New features: What do we consider to be a new feature? I think this may be controversial. Some might say "built in mixer / anonymity" is sufficient, I disagree, you might agree or disagree.. The intent is good, but I don't know how it will work out in practice.

Large User Base: I don't know if we can get much info about this, from reliable sources. We can't do our own research on the number of full nodes or merchants, that's WP:OR.

Valuable: I'm guessing market cap? What if a coin reaches a high market cap and then becomes near worthless? WP:NOTTEMPORARY,

Furthermore, coverage from reliable sources is essential, because we need enough reliable sources to be able to cover it. I think this biases coverage more to novelty coins (eg Titcoin) that isn't actually notable, but I'm not sure how that can be addressed.

Market cap is definitely not a measure. A currency can have 1bln coins total and if you exchange the single coin for $1 you will get $1bln cap. This is a nonsense. Value should be determined in other way Hannasnow (talk) 15:55, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
