XVII Tranche Project Audit
[edit]- @WP:MILHIST coordinators: There are a couple of things to look at,
- Section 2.1; "All reviews should be closed after 28 days" I want to how strictly is this followed, or should we amend this? Also for the statement "post a note to the review page giving your intent to close in, say, 24 or 48 hours", I feel that we should fix to 48 hrs to avoid any confusion.
- As the audit is on, it is better to decide on this as well, "Coordinator consensus is currently unclear on whether coordinators belonging to a special project should close reviews on articles that fall under that special project, regardless of their personal level of (un)involvement with the actual article" whether yes or no?
Please post your comments regarding these. Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 16:15, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- G'day, Krishna, my thoughts are that the 28 day rule is no longer really hard-and-fast (if indeed it ever was). It is aspirational only. I'd be happy to adjust that wording to something different. In reality a review is closed when it seems there is consensus about the result, which could be five days, or 100, or more it seems. Also happy to remove the note in your second point and apply the same rules as exist for all other ACRs. So long as the closing co-ord isn't the nominator, and hasn't been a reviewer or a major contributor to the article, then they should be able to objectively close a review.
