Wikipedia:WikiProject Men's IssuesWikipedia:WikiProject Men's Rights – The portal for this project is named Men's rights. When the project was first proposed, the name was Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals/WikiProject Men's rights. Most discussions in the project use the term "men's rights" or "men's rights movement" instead of "men's issues". I also think that the current title may not be inviting to potential new contributors (for example, a hypothetical WikiProject Women's Issues may not be particularly inviting to women). sst 16:16, 24 October 2015 (UTC) Relisted. i seem to remember that the original reason for naming this article 'issues" had to do with the leadenness of the term "mens rights." However it is the most used phrase and I think using it here would be just fine. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 18:00, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
  • That project focuses on the creation of articles about women and topics involving women. This project is about improving Wikipedia's coverage on topics related to men's rights, which is quite different from improving the coverage of men on Wikipedia. sst 12:04, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
  • At WPWomen, you can see a reorganization discussion to move all women's issues wikiprojects under one umbrella, so I don't see why we couldn't just start with a base project of "Men" and have taskforces for each more specific issue (ie. Men's rights; Men's studies; Men's health; Masculinity; ...) -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 06:26, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Men's rights movement? Maybe, if you want to focus that narrowly. Men's rights? Er, sure, if you provide independent high quality reliable sources talking about it as a distinct thing. Otherwise, I intend to tag patriarchy, male privilege, etc under the umbrella of "Wikiproject Men's rights" - since they certainly fit there. Why not just Wikiproject Men?
