Missing treatment for OME (Glue Ear) - Otovent Autoinflation treatment

[edit]

I am new to Wiki and this is my first post. I am the Sales and Marketing Director for Kestrel Medical, which distributes a treatment for Glue Ear called Otovent in the UK. This is a simple, drug free non-invasive treatment that is offered as an alternative to grommet operations.

It is reccomended by NICE for use in primary care during active monitoring period and is available on prescription in the UK. I have recently set up a website www.gluear.co.uk which contains medical studies, video demonstration on use, NICE Guidlines etc

I would like to put an article on wiki about this treatment but I do not want to break any rules on who posts. Can I get some advice? Am I allowed to put the article up as I work for a company with an interset in the product?

We are refering to Otitis media I presume? There are 0 reviews via pubmed on this device / treatment. I see no studies within the last ten years. Would be interested in seeing the NICE guidelines? Which ones and which page are you referring too?Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 04:23, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
