[edit]- Even if these photos were "free images", I don't think that, for example, Berryz Koubou would be fairly represented by either this image of a 30-year-old man presenting flowers to 15-year-old Momoko Tsugunaga (while the rest of the band is going "Awwww!")
Maybe not the most ideal, but still one that's regarded as useful and still used. See Anna Nicole Smith (discussion), Jon Stewart (dicussion), Ken Kutaragi, and Shigeru Miyamoto (discussion), for instance. For the Miyamoto image, people complained because they thought that him in a conductor suit didn't represent him as a game designer (the previous fair use image had been him surroundeed by video game character dolls). If it was possible I'm sure nobody would object.
Also, since this is a subpage, you could just move it to Wikipedia:WikiProject Hello! Project/Use of non-free images on Wikipedia hbdragon88 04:52, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- And that's one reason why Wikipedia is going down the toilet. The quality is suffering beyond belief because of arcane rules set by the WikiFoundation that have no basis in reality, legal or otherwise. -- CJ Marsicano 14:04, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
