Number of coordinators

[edit]

Since we have four candidates for an announced three positions, I've added a reminder that we've had a lead and four coordinators at a time in the past. All the best, Miniapolis 13:41, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Since it's looking like (positively definite) that I'm going to end up not making it into one of those three slots, I'll mention that I'll only take that slot if enough members support me as an assistant co-ordinator - if it stays as is I'll just lurk and spam the coordinators with requested edits to GOCE pages, which I've done rather a lot lately. I've no objection to the project having four assistant coordinators rather than three; as the boss says, the more the merrier. I'm glad Kieren is showing enthusiasm and interest, and don't worry I'll be voting in a few days. Cheers, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 22:40, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No objection here either; another set of eyes and hands is always helpful! Even though I am a recent return, I am quite impressed with your willingness and enthusiasm, and think you would make a good assistant. :) Pax Verbum 06:08, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No reason to have a low limit. More coordinators means less risk and potentially more succession options. My impressions are similar to those expressed by Pax85 above. --Stfg (talk) 08:28, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks all. I've been less active than I'd like lately - I lost my laptop charger in Bristol and I'm waiting on a new one... Hopefully I'll pick up activity with various things, and GOCE maintenance is something to do. :-) KieranTribe (talk) 14:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
